6.2.3.1 Passive and Active Metapolicies

As already mentioned in section , obligation policies have similar characteristics as active policies. The NoCScontrol system only supports obligation policies, which means in order to support active metapolicies no conceptual improvements are necessary.

In the system, passive policies and metapolicies are not considered and implemented yet. The system must be enhanced to support them. With the help of a passive example metapolicy, it is shown what the enforcement of a passive (meta-)policy means for the state of the management system. As an example, a metapolicy is chosen from the refinement criteria: Every child policy must have a parent policy.
